Paloma, you will really like their liquid foundation, the quality is very good, application definitely with a brush, as the pigment when you first see it is WOW! but it blends in and starts to lighten with your skin tone. I thought coverage was just as they described, and you can build on it. $34 retail not a bad price.

What shade of the Oxygen Wow do you think will work for my NC30 skin tone?

  2. Geraldine Lai ~ Beauty Career Professional says:

    Hi Lily
I would recommend looking at the shades, I know that sounds so standard, but when I tried in on myself I pick up the color (champagne) in the light line that I thought would be great for me, one pump and I thought I had made a huge mistake, first the pump size is generous, and I was not using a brush just my fingers so moving the pigment around rather than blending was not the right approach. Then I was color matched ( highly recommend it) and Lyndsey (pictured above) selected the same color I was not sure but when application with a brush was used, so much better. So I think they( the colors) are deceiving when you look and then try out on your hand, you need color matching with this foundation to get the best match. You will be pleased.

wow this looks amazing! will it work for oily skin?

  4. Geraldine Lai ~ Beauty Career Professional says:

As far as I am aware this is suited for all skin types, I would say that using their porefessional prior would be a bit help as it would assist with oil control. The issue with an oily skin is not to dry it out with one massive bang, the glands below the skin just immediately go into over drive and produce more oil, so gently does it. I like the coverage, and I know a lot of oily skins like coverage, so I think that is a plus with the product. I was very impressed, and it hid dark shadows under the eyes really well as you could just build on it. thanks for the comments

Do you need a powder with this? I have combination skin.

  6. Geraldine Lai ~ Beauty Career Professional says:

You do not need powder with this foundation, however if you prefer to have a slightly matte look I would use their porefessional on the T-Zone, Benefit did say that you can use one of their powders over the foundation, but keep in mind by using a powder on a foundation that offers good coverage you may end up giving your skin a flat look, which you don’t want, you want to achieve a fresh hydrated look. This foundation is not the regular liquid you may have tried in the past, you can build layers of coverage with this, to the point by using a concealer brush it will work well under the eyes. Try to use this without powder first, I think we sometimes feel we have to matte it all down but in doing so loose the light reflecting properties a foundation can offer. Thanks for the comments
