Inspired by the #LushTime bath art trend, Lush Digital have taken the tradition of making a Christmas song and video and put together a piece of visual and audio abstract art to illustrate the ultimate ‪#‎LushTime. Cosmetics as Art Inspired by the current social trend of Lush fans sharing bath time works of art using #LushTime, this film aims to capture the ultimate #LushTime in an explosion of color and texture that’s representative of the whole Lush creative process.

Featuring nothing but Lush’s own fresh, handmade products and ingredients. Nothing is tested on animals, choreographed to an original emotive score using a 45-piece orchestra and choral ensemble, creating a mesmerizing cinematic piece of art. ‘The Experimenter’ showcases the fascinating effects of Lush’s fresh products and ingredients in action: exploding bath bombs; morphing liquids; swirling product components and compounds; surfaces color bombed by lustres (PET free). The subsequent stunning imagery is choreographed by the specially composed orchestral score, ‘Wings At Their Feet’

Ultra High Definition
Lush worked with the award-winning Production agency, The Mill (who also collaborated on Baz Luhrmann’s recent Chanel No5 feature advert and the Sainsbury’s Christmas campaign) to shoot ultra high of color, texture and movement. The slow-mo images with the original musical score results in something quite breathtaking.

Lush commissioned acclaimed electronica producer and recording artist Simon “Palm Skin” Richmond to compose this original musical piece to between the creative and visual process of inventing products and of creating music. Featuring choral ensemble The London Voices and a 45-piece orchestra, recorded at The Angel Studios, the piece is fused with heart-stopping electronica music.
