From the experts at YSL, the Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils works to multiply, precisely define and magnify your lashes. One side provides thick and spaced bristles to coat your fringe and create volume, while the other side’s fine and close bristles reach every lash to generate a stunningly full look. For the ultimate effect, use YSL’s magical mascara along with an eyelash curler, liquid liner and pink.

The formula – protected by two patents – was inspired by a hi-tech molecule called graphene, a thin, flexible carbon crystal material. The YSL research labs have developed a formula that can mimic the structure and properties of graphene, by combing three polymers, soft waxes and an agent that allows for maximum distribution of black pigments. This makes it possible to lengthen and curl lashes from root to tip and ensure a 24-hour hold, YSL maintains.

Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Baby Doll comprises a multi-faceted elastomer brush, which alternates thick, widely spaced bristles to coat and magnify, with finer, more closely spaced bristles to define the shortest lashes.

Cara Delevingne was photographed by Terry Richardson; the advertisement displays Cara boasting a flawless and fierce cat eye. “Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils Baby Doll is everything I’ve ever dreamed of,” said Lloyd Simmons, creative director of YSL Beauty. “It’s mascara that curls and separates the lashes to give them ideal thickness without ever weighing them down.”  The false lash-effect Mascara released on yslbeautyus.com on March 20th, but is set to hit beauty counters with  a coinciding eye liner May 22nd, 2013.

Showing off YSL’s Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Baby Doll in the campaign, Cara dons a black tweed mini skirt, satin neck tie and iconic flick of black eyeliner that screams out 1960’s glamour. With Autumn Winter ’13 Fashion Week finishing just a week ago, the Brit beauty couldn’t avoid the limelight for long as details of her latest modeling contract hit the news.

As Cara leans over a mirror perfecting her eye makeup with the Baby Doll mascara, the campaign promises defined, seductive lashes to all who try the product. The mascara is exhibited in YSL’s exclusive gold packaging with “Baby Doll” written down the side in pink. Delevingne joins other current YSL spokes models Jessica Chastain and Jourdan Dunn. Now that’s a runway show stopper!
